Powerful. Moving. Oscar-worthy. Great acting, casting, story-line, dialogue. Beautiful period piece of the US South during 1960’s civil rights days. Shot from perspective of a African-American maid(s) and the humiliations they faced, little and big. Closing song by Mary Blige “Living Proof” puts it over the top.
